Raymond Sexton is our redoutable Vice President of Australia/AsiaPac and Worldwide Engineering, and the proverbial safe pair of hands for Business Growth, Infrastructure Delivery, Strategy Implementation and Community Development.
Raymond completed an MBA at Melbourne Business School in 2016 after 30 years plus experience, 10 in Australia & over 20 in Europe. He has delivered critical assignments for a wide variety of clients through his technical and management knowledge coupled with exceptional interpersonal skills.
He has a unique ability to develop a deep understanding of multiple stakeholder perspectives. His areas of expertise include Social & Economic Development through Innovation, Professional Services Management including Engineering Design & Procurement, Conflict Resolution, Stakeholder Management & Community Relations, Fund Raising, Advocacy, Investment & FDI Promotion and Education & Consultancy in Leadership Development
Chartered Engineer, Project Manager, Business Transformation Specialist, Mr. Sexton is Senior Vice President of London Washington Asia Pacific. A Chartered Engineer by profession, Raymond has extensive management experience in Australia, Scotland, Norway, USA and Ireland. He has advised Australian Defence Industries, PM Group, EG Pettit, Bovis Lend Lease and myriads of Engineering SMEs, just to name a few. In 2002 he founded a boutique management consultancy in Dublin and spearheaded the Tangible Leadership Series which has delivered over 60 leadership seminars around the world. He holds a Senior Executive MBA from Melbourne Business School, The University of Melbourne.
He has a proven ability to win work in difficult climates which has not only further honed his skills and expertise, but has put him in high demand. He is known for motivating staff, contractors and suppliers very effectively in what previously seemed like impossible situations.
He was a Board Member of Dublin Civic Trust, Dublin, Ireland Jul 2009 – Sep 2016, Engineers Ireland, Member of National Council, National Executive May 2001 to May 2004, Chairman of Engineers Ireland-Benevolent Fund Committee. May 2002 to May 2012, Board Member at Premium Power, Ireland Aug 2012 – Jul 2015, Chairman/Company Secretary, Howth Sutton Community Council Mar 2004-Sep 2016, and we are very happy to say, is now serves on the Guiding Principles™ Advisory Board and delivery team!
